Adelle Sans in use in the branding of Trimfit

Trimfit is a garment company founded in New York in 1921. It focuses on children clothes and complements having plans to expand towards adult garment too. Canadian designers Siavash Khasha and Allegra Poschmann chose TypeTogether’s font Adelle as the main typeface of the new brand.
The new brand needed to work in two different levels, in big box stores and in boutique shops. Additionally, Trimfit’s plan includes the developing of products for young adults. ‘Adelle —explained designer Allegra Poschmann— presented the necessary spunk to be used for a childrens brand, but also the elegance required to be used as the company expands in new categories for adults. It was important for us to choose a typeface for a word-mark that would be accessible and flexible on a number of levels’.
