Maiola in Slanted ::::
The German magazine Slanted published recently its 5th issue, the "Antiqua-boom". Antiqua in German refers to a serif typeface. Maiola was selected to be one of the examples of new, contemporary serif typefaces. |

Harper Collins and MaoMao published the book Typosphere, a showcase of new typefaces. Athelas and Maiola were choosen to be part of this selection. |

Typefounding in the 21st century ::::
José Scaglione was invited to ORT intitute of Technology, Buenos Aires, to present his lecture "Typefounding in the 21st century". This introductory talk defines some of the concepts and difficulties inherent to typeface design, focusing particularly on text typography. |

Karmina wins at EDAwards ::::
Karmina has won a merit in the original-typeface category of the "European Design Awards" competition. It is part of a pan-european design conference and publication promoting European design. |

Ronnia selected by the Irish Times ::::
Ronnia was selected by the Irish Times for the typesetting of The Ticket, a weekly entertainment magazine that is published with the newspaper. The design firm Palmer Watson Ltd. and Matthew Ball were responsible for the original design of The Ticket, which uses all ten weights of Ronnia at different sizes, from headlines to small texts. The Ticket editor is Conor Goodman and the designer is Anthea McTeirnan.
