Abril wins Gold at ED Awards

Results of the European Design Awards 2012 competition were published on May 26. The jury, made up of representatives from 15 different design magazines, selected the recently released Abril type family as the winner of the Gold Prize in the Original Typeface category. This is the fourth international recognition that Abril received since its release in August 2011.

TYPE IN USE
Abril & Tablet Gothic, a perfect match!

Our recent typeface releases Abril Text and Tablet Gothic are both put to good use in the catalogue accompanying the current exhibition "Francis BACON & Bohumil HRABAL | Two Geniuses". It is taking place at the newly opened Gate Gallery in Prague until the 22nd July 2012 and is coordinated by Vernon Gallery and Studio Legale Guerini.

EDUCATION
Burian & Scaglione at IsType

TypeTogether founders, Burian & Scaglione, have been invited to hold a type design workshop and talk at the upcoming ISType 2012 event in Istanbul between June 15–18. The conference was brought to life last year for the first time by Onur Yazıcıgil (Sabancı University) and Alessandro Segalini (Izmir University of Economics) as way of encouraging and supporting contemporary typographic development in Turkey.
