It took us a while, but we eventually managed to put Adelle Sans on a strict diet and the results are great. The TypeTogether team is working on yet another extension to the Adelle typographic system. The next milestone in this project is a set of 14 condensed styles of the multi-award winning Adelle Sans. The new styles are engineered to deliver the same aesthetic values and personality in applications where space and economy are critical for success.

Alverata Irregular at Clay!

Alverata Irregular, one of the latest designs from Gerard Unger, was used in the exhibition 'Clay! A century of ceramics at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie’, at the Gemeentemuseum. Unger's design proved to be very versatile, it was striking at display sizes, e.g. on the exhibition walls and for signage, yet legible and warm at small sizes in the catalogue.
