SAVE THE DATE: 2025 GERARD UNGER SCHOLARSHIP

It’s almost that time again! Each year we hold an open call for submissions to our Gerard Unger Scholarship, a mentorship programme for promising type designers and their designs. Winners get to finish their typeface with the support of our entire TypeTogether team, receive a stipend, and learn all about typeface publishing as they release their font family with us.

The call for entries will be open 15 April through 1 June 2025. All individuals either enrolled in or graduating from a typography course in 2024 or 2025 are invited to submit their designs for consideration. We want to see something fresh, with more than one weight or style, but without any restrictions on creativity or application. So put your finishing touches on it and get ready to submit your typeface beginning 15 April!
